About this restaurant

  • Charming
  • Good for special occasions
  • Neighbourhood gem
The Pink Adobe restaurant stands proudly in the heart of Santa Fe's historic Barrio De Analco neighborhood, which is considered the oldest neighborhood in the US. Founded in 1944 by Rosalea Murphy, an artist and social connector, the restaurant takes its name from the rose-colored adobe plastering on the nearly 400-year-old hacienda that serves as its home. This iconic Santa Fe destination at the heart of the Old Santa Fe Trail has been known for its fun, vibrant atmosphere and outstanding cuisine. Some of the famous well-known dishes are still existing such as the Steak Dunnigan, French Onion Soup and Rosalea's French Apple Pie among with new and innovative creations from our Executive Chef Andrew Fox.

The jumbo lump crab cake is overpriced. It's one small cake and not enough to split. I don't recall getting any slaw. We had short ribs, a nightly special. The ribs were unevenly cooked, tough and burnt in places, and the accompanying mash potatoes arrived cool — as though the plate had been prepped and left to sit. The restaurant appears to be amid a change in management, so we'll attribute our disappointment to that, but it'll be a while before we return.

This was our first visit to Pink Adobe but definitely will not be our last. We started with a Caesar salad with a unique and delicious Chimayo red chile Caesar dressing. The Duck Confit Enmolada (duck enchiladas) were incredible!! Silver Coin margaritas were refreshing. We finished with the apple pie for dessert which had a great flavor but the crust was much too tough. The warm decor reflects the 80 year history of Santa Fe in warm colors, aged vigas and pressed tin ceilings.

Started out with some tasty happy hour margaritas at the Dragon Room. Terrific ambiance and lots of history. Carried our drinks across the alley to the restaurant and were seated right by the window. The food was delicious. Tournedos Bordelais for my wife (she usually gets the fish - the medallions were like butter). Duck confit enmolada was flavorful and perfectly cooked. I asked for salsa verde and was given a cupful of warm (never had it warm before!) perfection. It added another layer to the dish. Our server Fernando was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Gave us great and honest opinions/suggestions. This is a great restaurant with outstanding food, service and ambiance. Definitely would go back if we were to visit Santa Fe again.

Very good! Quaint dining room with a fireplace. Wife’s steak was lacking seasoning but mine was perfect. Caesar salad was a hit. Certainly would recommend

Food was bland. Sauces watery. Pork chop dry. I was very disappointed. My wife gut a Caesar salad with salmon and she liked it.

I’m very disappointed in the revised menu . So many of the original dishes are gone . Dishes are also much smaller in size and no seasoning. Very disappointed as it was one of my favorite restaurants. Service was excellent.

We had to wait a bit for our table, but we were a bit early. We all ordered different margaritas. Mine was great, my daughters were so tart they couldn’t drink. we asked 4 different times for a bit of Cointreau it took close to 30 mins to get. They did give us a lovely table next to a wood burning fireplace! Our waiter was apparently new. Did not know the menu and we had to ask to have our water refilled. All and all, we enjoyed the restaurant was great. They just need to train the wait staff before turning them lose. The food was amazing

Fish dish was very good, corn chowder was very good, Crab cake was good. Apple pie was awful, crust was like cardboard. Remember from years ago it was the best on town!
