My wife, our little Yorkie and I had a very nice time at The Real Macaw. Tasty crabcake and tuna tartare appetizers, crispy duck and filet mignon entrees and chocolate mousse dessert were all excellent. Good service in a friendly atmosphere with live blues music. Good time was had by all including our 7 pound Yorkie who was the star of the show as always.

We had an outstanding meal and a memorable evening at The Real Macaw. The property is beautifully composed and decorated; colorful and comfortable with a Caribbean vibe and an indoor-outdoor configuration loaded with tropical plants, a great environment to see live music and enjoy a superb meal. Staff is friendly and engaged, Siobhan the owner was ever-present and a gracious host, she knows her business and sets a great tone. The menu has broad appeal, the food is excellent. The bar area was rockin but not to the detriment of the numerous dining areas. The band was tremendous. The Real Macaw is a superb evening out.

Lovely setting and Emily was a great waitperson. Duck was delicious. Prefer fresh warm bread to what is served and green beans very overcooked. Ambiance and entertainment great.

Excellent atmosphere even on a cold night - it was toasty warm and cozy and service was amazing. Would definitely like to return for live music on the porch.
