   Excellent steak. Excellent service. Quiet atmosphere. Sides were good. Only complaint: You shouldn't charge 3$ for block ice in a 20$ old fashioned. And you should mention it.

   Our experience at the Republic Steakhouse was very good. We enjoyed the salad and the sides as well but their steak dishes were great! I look forward to exploring different dishes there.

   I was disappointed in the crab cakes which I chose as my entree. I should’ve read the menu in more detail. I didn’t realize that they would be served tempura style (Texas beer battered per the menu) with guacamole and corn relish. I also had the lobster bisque which was good.

   beautiful venue! drinks/dinner w/hubs. hostesses friendly. bar cozy/warm. hubs had old fashioned-delicious. Amaretto sour for me. good, but missed the frothy egg white on top. Dawson, our server, excellent/attentive. calamari was “meh.” dried out, tasted old. chicken fried oysters DELISH! Red fish-good. Fine dining should have crumb sweepers. Bread produced lots of crumbs on tablecloth. key lime pie & cappuccinos-wonderful! Disappointed our birthday celebration wasn’t acknowledged after noting it on OT reservation. All in all enjoyable

   Excellent steaks, cooked perfectly (medium rare). We had sides of green beans w/ prosciutto & almonds - especially liked these - and the Mac & cheese. Our server, Jordan, was great - attentive without being obtrusive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. A wonderful dining experience. This was our first experience with The Republic, and we will definitely go back.

   Incredible as always. Steaks are always cooked to perfection, and the 1836 sauce is the best thing I’ve ever tasted. Great service

    Went for Valentine’s Day and it was amazing! A little boy (assuming the owner’s son) came around to every woman in the restaurant and gave them a long stemmed red rose. Food was great as always and I asked the waiter to surprise me with a drink and it was also amazing!
