   I recently dined at The Republic, and it was outstanding. The meal started with a fresh and flavorful beef tartare, setting the tone for an incredible dinner. The highlight was the A5 Wagyu, which was that night’s special, perfectly cooked, unbelievably tender, and rich with buttery flavor. The sides, including brussels sprouts and mushrooms, were just as impressive. Our server, Julia, was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the evening even more enjoyable. The Republic truly delivers on all fronts.

   Had a date night at the republic tonight and as usual it did not disappoint. Let’s start with our waiter, Dawson. Dawson was amazing. He is very knowledgeable about everything on the menu, the wine list and the cocktail list. He has a great personality that meshes well in a steak house environment. He made excellent recommendations on both drinks and food. We started with the Gulf Shrimp Beurre Monte, Holy Cow!!!! This is an amazing appetizer and I highly recommend it. I had the Prime New York Strip and my wife had the Petite Filet Mignon with the twice baked potatoes. Both were cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. We love The Republic and will return for sure

   Our first time to eat at Republic. We will go back. We had a lovely dinner and enjoyed our time there. Wait staff was excellent and so was the food.

   Outstanding! Friendly staff and great atmosphere. We had a group of 6 and everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. The Butchers cut specials are delicious and worth the extra money. Our server was able to explain the menu and Mash Madness with animated clarity. She definitely knew the food.

   Hadn’t been here a while since we are trying other restaurants in town. Have to say the Republic is still probably the best restaurant in College Station. Food and drinks were outstanding!

   Everyone was so kind, and told us Happy Anniversary several times. Very thoughtful! The servers and staff were all so informative and helpful!!! The food was exceptional, will definitely be back!!!

   We had a great time. Went with 4 of our close friends who frequent the Republic - as we live out of town now - it’s always a treat to go back. My only issue is I will go with the wedge salad v chophouse (?) salad next time - much too soggy for my taste. Otherwise the Republic is like an old friend - always nice to see them.
