Located inside the Institute for Advanced Study, the restaurant serves on Wednesday and Friday a prix fixe five courses menu. Drawing from the seasons and local farms Chef Yann Blanchet and his staff creates an ever changing dining experience.
The wine cellar includes an unprecedented selection of wines from around the world.
Housed in a temperature controlled room more than 400 selections are available.
All wines are priced well below what you would expect to pay in a local restaurant or in the New York, Philadelphia area.
Renée Robinson will be pleased to recommend and guide you through your wine selection.

The dishes are beautifully presented and taste superb. The servers are attentive. Overall a most pleasant dining experience.

My guests kept asking me if the food is always that good. We particularly enjoyed the table of 11 physicists who came in at 7:00. If they had not signed up, the Wednesday dinner would have been canceled because there were not enough reservations. It’s a great bargain and everybody should go Wednesday night.

Best food and value in town. Only problem is you need to join the IAS, and dinners are only offered on Wednesday and Fridays. Also, menus are not posted until the morning of the dinner.

Well prepared, tasty, well-presented 3 course dinner with continental style desserts. Served cafeteria style tin wine or soft drink included. One has to be a member/friend of the institute for advanced study.

Incomparable and amazing - not open to the public but if you somehow can manage the connections to get in, this is the best restaurant in Princeton, possibly the US as a whole. The French Laundry has nothing on the IAS!

Some comments on beverages. For water, large glasses should be available, like at the old buffets and the dinners. It would be gracious to include coffee or tea in the prix fixe price, rather than it being an extra.
