    This specific visit to The Smith was for Thanksgiving Dinner. There was a group of us, and the reservation needed to be modified several times, due to additions and cancellations. The staff at The Smith was so pleasant and accommodating each time I had to contact the restaurant. They could not have been nicer. And the Thanksgiving dinner was great. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Such a nice experience!

    We had our first restaurant Thanksgiving experience and The Smith in East Village was so nice! 3 courses for $82 a person - 3 table sides too! So many leftovers! The festive drink options were spot on! We always love our time at The Smith and this holiday experience was outstanding. Thank you!

    The short ribs and brussels sprouts were outstanding The squash soup was a little too sweet. The vodka martini was not impressive and the olives had no taste. The sticky pudding was not so good; it was topped with canned apples, which are never acceptable. Happy Thanksgiving!

    Our server waa EXCELLENT! We were fortunate to sit downstairs in a room regularly reserved for private events and absolutely loved it because the noise level was low. The main dining room is way too loud, so this was a welcomed treat. Food was really good, but prices are too high for what it is.
