The Social in Santa Clarita has consistently provided us with great dining experiences. We have always enjoyed our visits here, with delicious food, excellent service, and a pleasant ambiance. One area with room for improvement is the filet mignon, which we found to be tough and chewy on our last visit. However, this was a minor hiccup in an otherwise fantastic dining experience. The service at The Social is consistently excellent. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always ensures that we have an enjoyable time. The ambiance is inviting and comfortable, making it a great place to dine and unwind. Overall, The Social offers a wonderful dining experience with great food, excellent service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Despite a minor issue with the filet mignon, we look forward to returning and enjoying more memorable meals.

The Social has an unassuming exterior and was not immediately obvious. Inside it’s quite pleasant, with a small bar partially partitioned from the main dining room. The lighting was just a bit too bright for a truly romantic ambiance but about right to appeal to the general public. We both had salads which turned out to be surprisingly delicious- honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had. I had the onion soup and that, too, was delicious and extraordinary flavorful. She had a martini and said that the balance of components was perfect. Our server Chelsea was superb: friendly and attentive (but not hovering) service. In fact we stayed until after they closed and the staff were cleaning up around us but no one ever murmured a word about the inconvenience; Chelsea acted like we were their guests and could stay as long as we wished. (Afterwards I regretted leaving only 20% tip.) Our experience at The Social was first rate. It’s not the fanciest place but they make the most of the place they’ve got, the food is delicious, the martinis are perfect, and the service is superb. This place is a hidden gem.

Love The Social.. the staff is always super friendly and the owner Patrick is the best! He greets ALL of his patrons with a smile and good cheers. This is why this local establishment has stayed in business and will forever be one the long standing staple restaurants in Newhall! Thank you Patrick for your dedication to your patrons old and new!

We dined on a very busy Christmas Eve. Our table was available upon our arrival and we were quickly seated, acknowledged and drink orders taken. Our meals consisted of the fillet béarnaise, gnocchi and chicken Marsala and a starter Social salad. All were well prepared and quite tasty. Our server, Avi, was friendly, informative and attentive even though very busy. In short, a very pleasant experience at one of our favorite restaurants

Very nice very menu, I had the spaghetti bolognese and also tasted the lobster ravioli and everything was wonderful. Their martinis our first class. I recommend it highly

The Social is a reliably solid choice for a nice dinner out in the SCV. We went on a Friday night this time, so it was quite busy, which I like. The service was excellent as usual and the food was very good. One of my favorite restaurants in town.
