The Stag Public House is a wonderful London pub that has a huge garden with cabana's. We serve a fresh menu everyday plus our very popular Sunday roasts & BBQs in the summer often to accompaniment of acoustic music. The bar is stocked with craft beer, cocktails, wines & more

There is also a Private Party Floor with it's own bar & roof terrace that can be booked for events. Food is served everyday up to 10pm. After 6pm the pub is only available to over 18's. All table booked via Open Table are inside, please let us know if you wish to book a table in the garden

Staff are really friendly. Music tends towards 80s classsics which suits the older than average clientele in the evening. They've worked hard on the food menu from a couple of years ago and the beef ribs were fantastic!

I love the food and atmosphere at The Stag, it's a real regular haunt. One of my most favourite beer gardens in London and they often have great live music as well. My only qualm with the place is that although the food LOOKS incredible, it always underperforms on flavour for me. Everything is either too rich or under-seasoned. Staff are all very cool but I sometimes feel as if I am a hindrance to them, like they just wanna get out and have a beer themselves (don't blame them but it's not the BEST attitude). In any case, it remains one of my all time favourite pubs and I will continue to go and continue to recommend.

Lovely pub with lots of character in a great location. Excellent service and really interesting menu. Will definitely come back!

Great place for a Sunday roast with friends. Always good quality food and friendly service. One of my favourites.

We ventured here on the recommendation from a friend. They seemed to be extremely busy and although our waiter was lovely and apologised we did have to do things like order the same drink 3 times and ask for plates to put our roast onto. I also ended up getting my own cup of tea instead of waiting on a waitress, shift had changed! They still charged us the 12.5% service charge which we thought was a bit cheeky. Although being typically British we just paid and didn't make a fuss. All in all the food was good and we had time to waste so didn't mind hanging around longer than it should take and we will venture back.

We used to go regularly for Sunday lunch up to 2013, and always had a great roast beef meal. Sadly last week (March 2016) the food was disappointing. Instead of slices of succulent roast beef, there was a one cold slab of meat, somewhat rare for some of my friends. There was about one teaspoon of gravy and we asked for more, and were given a tiny pot for 4 people. Sad to see the quality decline so much in a few years

Another great meal at the stag - loved the food and always a nice atmosphere. Definitely a safe choice for those looking for decent pub grub!
