   Perfect place for dinner before attending a Washington Stage Guild performance. Lovely surroundings , quiet and great good. Jamal always welcomes us warmly and provides excellent service.

   This was a birthday celebration with the Valentine’s Day tea. The food was excellent. The server was awesome. He was kind, knowledgeable and very professional.

   If you have any experience with afternoon tea, I strongly recommend against the one at the Henley Park. $70 per person is a real splurge for afternoon tea so I had high expectations. It was a bad sign when the pot of tea was plunked down with a tea bag hanging out of it (rather than loose leaf). The server could not advise on how long each tea should be steeped, and no plates were provided for the tea bags. The scones were perfect: tall, warm, crispy outside, and fluffy inside. And the lemon curd was divine. That was the end of the bliss. The sandwiches were dry; they included ungainly lobster rolls ?! The sweets were pretty and generous; the macarons and chocolates were delicious but the server was not able to tell us what any of the desserts were. We were just left to taste and guess. Really not an acceptable experience for an afternoon tea of any price and especially not for one at that price. The hotel is not one I would visit again.

   Did not know until I arrived that the whole menu was not available. Salads very small but good.

   We opted for the Valentine's meal, which exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this dining experience. The food and service were excellent!

   Second time dining here this week. This was a business dinner, we were paced well, food was delicious and server did not rush us.

    The service was excellent and food was fine but for the price I would have expected a more festive ambiance. When we first arrived there was no one at the host station and while our server (there was only one working that day) was great, the whole experience just didn’t feel as special as other hotel high teas.
