A chic and sophisticated décor provides the setting for our distinctive "world cuisine", a provocative mix of zesty influences that creates a delightful dining experience in Palm Springs, California. Plush high-backed semicircular banquettes surround our dining room and offer comfortable and private seating. The cuisine has a light, exotic feel with an emphasis on Pacific Rim specialties, from Chilean Sea Bass baked in Banana Leaves or Kahlua-Barbecued Pork Chops to all sorts of tasty tapas, salads, wood-fired pizzas, and desserts. The Coral Seas Lounge, a hip mid-century style bar is lined with sexy black leather bar-stools and is reminiscent of the upbeat lounges of old Palm Springs. It wraps around the dining room and leads outside to a lush, tropical, 2000 square foot dining patio where a variety of specialty cocktails and old-school favorites are mixed - an ideal place where friends gather and martinis are sipped under the starlit desert sky.

Service was the best I’ve experienced in a very long time. I’m a fanatic about booths and the majority of the seating consists of just that, even for a large group. The food was outstanding and plentiful and delivered right on time. There is a great selection of creative cocktails. There was a lot to like. Definitely will be back.

On a busy Saturday night, we were seated immediately. The service was outstanding and we all had the specials that evening, which were great and as always the drinks were served quickly and delicious.

Amazing patio space. The inside is great as well. I really live the lounge type music, the upbeat staff and the over atmosphere. The food is fantastic and time if took for food to come out was great as well. Five stars.

Tropical has been one of our favorite restaurants for years. Not sure what’s happening here, but the food has been subpar for our last three or four visits. Undercooked and cold last night. Service remains exceptional.

We have owned a home in Palm Springs for eleven year's. One of our first finds was walking into Tropicale for dinner. What an extraordinary experience, that night and last night. It is like the old TV show Cheers "where everyone knows your name" or for sure your face! Thank you Ranz, Tony and all of the staff for treating is so well. It is always a joy to return to Tropicale for another fantastic meal with friends and family. See you again soon. Robert and Dianna

We were greeted by the staff as we came in the door. We were seated in a lovely and comfortable booth. Our food was delicious! We topped it off with a yummy Baked Alaska. Our server, Carissa, was wonderful and also, a friendly professional. We look forward to our return. Cecilia
