We had the most excellent dinner last night at The Valley Inn. We got a res on Opentable and sat in a lovely area near the outdoor bar. We had kids with us, so the relaxed seating was very appreciated. From service to food to atmosphere, everything was top notch. We are pescatarian and there were many options. We had the fried green tomatoes, Caesar salad and shrimp scampi, and my picky 7 year old had pasta from the kids menu (shells) which were truly delicious. I feel like they are doing something really special with the menu or in the kitchen because both pastas were top 5 best ever in my culinary history. We didn’t stay for dessert but wine and cocktails were excellent with plenty of non alcoholic options. Our server, Aidan was amazing and we really need to shout out chef Manny for such a wonderful experience. We will be back!!

Front of the House - Patti was fantastic. Wonderful greeting. Makes you want to come back. Genuine, professional and does honor to the Atlas Restaurant Group brand. Wait Staff - new to me. Helpful. On her game. Observant. Meal - Maryland Crab Soup with oyster crackers and Shrimp cocktail. Seasoned. Tasty. Perfect lunch time meal. Booth - 44 requires new cushion and covering. Material is worn and does not reflect well on the Brand. Kitchen - one wonderful meal at a time. Maryland flag has aged and warrant’s replacement. Management - Professional and they circulate around the Dining Room - makes a difference. Gift cards - very nice program with $ 25 for every $ 150 purchased. great gifts.

I wanted a cozy Christmas Eve supper with my sister, and it was pretty much that! We sat in the back of the restaurant, near where I assume the summer seating would open onto a patio; it was quite light and bright with the afternoon sunshine. Not too cold, not too warm, though it was from a sensory perspective over whelming to sit at a table that had one seat positioned at the open doors (my sister was kind enough to switch seats with me). The staff responded to our requests without too much issue. I enjoyed the cream of crab soup, what a warm hug of a dish; honestly, a solid warm sourdough chunk would have paired perfectly. The wedge salad was a bit busy, but you can't go wrong with the flavors. The Mac and Cheese side was... I'll be honest, it was better the next day after reheating it and adding some nutmeg, but a solid dish nonetheless. I'm excited to come back and try more of the menu.

Our table was awful under a hot heater, and ask to move to other side and was told can’t as waiters have to be able to walk thru the cheese steak sub rolls were stale or over toasted, cheap stringy meat the beers took forever , and the ice was melted in seltzers i have eaten here a lot but this was the worst!

The service was great and the food was delicious, particularly the cream of crab soup. We had the brunch menu, and it was a great variety of breakfast, lunch, and exquisite entrees.

Overall very good. Food was good and Service was great ( Julien). Was just a bit too loud…very difficult to have a convo…one very loud table. We were on the porch so maybe that’s an issue. The corkage charge is a good deal…reason to return but would sit inside.

Met a friend for a holiday lunch. Even calling a week early, I couldn’t get Noon reservation; I got one at 11:30. We watched the place fill up. Looked like many holiday parties. Given the crowd, the staff did a good job with service. My friend had the seafood Cobb salad and a cup of crab soup. I had the turkey burger, which came with fries. All Of the food was delicious as nd served at the right temperature, an accompaniment when the place is so crowded. We will return.
