Chic. Modern. Sophisticated. But also casual and friendly. The Venue is the cool hot spot on El Paseo, popular with locals, out-of-town visitors and food critics who serve up rave reviews. The Venue is artful, from its sleek décor to the original, ever-evolving menu, enthusiastically created by owner/chef Engin Onural. "This is my art," he shares. "Each plate is a painting, but I use fish instead of paint."

    Fantastic and creative! Patio seating is comfortable and inviting. I’d recommend to any sushi fans. (All rolls have crab in them) The miso soup was so flavorful.

    Always great sushi rolls, and good service. Wine list is a bit lacking however. We still love to come, sit outside and enjoy! Venue roll and lonagostina rolls were our favorites. Mila took wonderful care of us.

    We absolutely love the VENUE! It’s our date night place as well as a must go when people are in town visiting! Excellent cocktails and delicious sushi!! The yellowtail carpaccio is a must order!! So GOOD!!

    AWESOME service, tasty drinks, good food. Ko-Ko roll was easily our favorite. Didn’t love the coconut shrimp, but the crispy brussel sprouts were good. Rolls are pricey but good.

    we had a great experience. We both had the Chefs tasting, and everything we had was great. Each tasing was expertly selected, and the execution was spot on. The service was equally awesome. our server took the time to thoroughly explain each dish, and she was there anytime we needed anything. We highly recommend The Venue, and we will definitely be back again.

    The service was terrible. My wife’s food came out 10 minutes before mine. Server more interested in high maintenance table next to us. Felt we got swindled into $11 bottle of water. Food was good but very limited selection. All the rolls were either crab or shrimp, there were no tuna rolls. Won’t be back.
