Élégant bar à cocktails et bistro du centre-ville proposant un large éventail de cocktails, de vins de qualité et de spiritueux haut de gamme, ainsi qu'un choix de dîners et de soupers d'inspiration écossaise fraîchement préparés et disponibles toute la journée de midi jusqu'à tard. Au White house, l'accent est mis sur un service haut de gamme dans un environnement détendu et convivial. Le service aux tables signifie qu'il n'est pas nécessaire de faire la queue au bar. On a very busy night for the restaurant we had an excellent meal & spectacular cocktails all complimented by a very attentive and exceptional team of waitresses. We had a great night and will definitely be back again and again.

Friendly & helpful staff. I have a dairy allergy & was pleasantly surprised at how many options I was able to chose from. Food was all delicious & we'll definitely be back.

Table by the door, was so cold, very darfty, uncomfortable chairs. Very limited lunch menu, no mussels available. Not a great experience.

Hi Lorna, thank you for leaving your honest feedback from your recent visit with us. We are sorry to hear your visit with us were not up to the usual standards we pride ourselves on. We are very sorry about the temperature of the venue, we were experiencing a technical issue with one of our heaters on this day. We are about to under go a refurb and in this time we will be replacing all our chairs to improve the comfort of our customers. Our mussels are sourced from a local fish monger and sometimes they don’t arrive until later that day depending how busy they are. We do hope to welcome you back to show our usual high standards.

Myself and colleagues had never been here before. We had booked a table but my colleague who got there before was asked if we would like a different table. We accepted as we had been positioned originally on high stools. We accepted. The bar was realaively quiet. We had to wait 20 mins then for someone to take our drinks order and that was after prompting. Food order taken. Opted for slider burgers. Fries were warm and generally the plate of food was mediocre at best. We were then told we had to vacate the table in 30 mins as another party were booked in...hang on this wasnt explained initially AND we had to wait a while for service. Declined dessert due to time constraints...opted for a coffee which I quickly drunt. 30 mins had passed and despite asking 3 people for the bill it took a further 30 minutes.

We are very sorry to hear our standards in which we pride ourselves in were not met on this occasion with the service of our staff. We are doing extra training with our front of house staff to avoid this from happening again. We have passed your feedback to the kitchen team to ensure we are producing the best dishes we can. With all our bookings the table is only allocated to each booking for 2hrs which Is stated when booking with us. We are sorry if this wasn’t made clear with your booking and the staff didn’t pass this information on clearly. We hope to welcome you and your group back on a different occasion and show the standards of service and dishes we pride ourselves on.

Looks very nice. Place was cold. Glasses were smudged. Food was very average. The waiting staff were very good and personable.

Excellent food with amazing gluten free choices. Staff very nice and accommodating (we were one hour early!)

Had to constantly try to get someone's attention, diners seated after us were served before us. Took from 715pm until nearly 10pm to have one main meal.

Our dinner at the White House for New Year’s Eve / our anniversary was amazing ! The staff was really sweet, the vibes were really nice and the food was great. Special shoutout to the mixologist !
