Situé au centre du Vieux Worthington, le restaurant The Whitney House présente une nourriture réconfortante américaine, une cuisine concoctée de A à Z, raffinée et rustique. Il utilise des ingrédients frais et locaux et est constamment à la recherche de nouvelles techniques novatrices afin de servir sa communauté. Le Whitney House rend hommage aux maisons et aux cuisines du passé qui accueillaient et traitaient tout le monde comme sa famille, en proposant des boissons et de la nourriture faites avec amour.     Food was great, bartenders were pleasant and attentive. several unfortunate misses in terms of our experience. We had a reservation and still had a 20+ minute wait. When our table was ready, we were sat in the main dining room instead of at a high top (which is what we reserved). When we asked, they said there would be an additional wait and weren't given the option to do so. We were at a very small 2 top along the half wall near the front of the restaurant where people were basically standing over us while they waited for their tables. The dining room was smokey and we stunk when we left. Music was very loud and didn't seem to fit the vibe. Disappointed, as we haven't been in a while and had previously had a positive experience.

    The mushroom gnocchi is exceptionally delectable, making it an ideal choice for vegetarians. The elevated tavern fries were also remarkable.

    The chicken burger was fantastic. The house salad had all the right ingredients but tasted like you were sucking on a lemon. The restaurant has a nice vibe and the hostess was wonderful. Our server seemed distant and we had to request drinks silverware and service.

    Brunch was great, grandson had eggs Benedict that he loved My brioche French toast was yummy and everything else from our party of 5 was delicious This was our first time here and I was surprised at how small the restaurant was.

    Have been a few times. Usually phenomenal. Not our best visit. Put down it was our anniversary and we were seating o the bar side. It was extremely loud. The server did the best they could but were definitely over sat. Ordered mid rare and got a mid well. Server did ask how everything was but it was right as we got food and we had not cut into our steaks yet. My partner had the same requested cook and result. Flavor was good. Didn’t send it back bc we would have had too wait too long for replacement.

    Very pleasant experience, waitress was very prompt, service was good. Food was very good. We had the Sunday Supper and salmon. Both were very good. Our reservation was at 6:30 and we were seated 20minutes early. We dined on the Tuesday of Valentines week, and the dining room was full. The dining room itself was small, and rather noisy for an intimate restaurant. The only thing that was disappointing was there was no bread on the table . Considering the entrees we had did not have a bun I would have thought something would have been brought out by the waitress. The ravioli dish I would have expected some type of bread or rolls. It still was a pleasant dinner.

    Nice place in downtown Worthington for lunch, brunch or dinner. Bar service is on the slow side though.

    Food was good. Waited 40 min despite reservation. Bar service was great, people personable and attentive. Once seated waitress was not personable or attentive , we needed to get her attention vs. checking in for drinks, dessert. No offer for free dessert with my mom’s bday!

    We were a paty of 3 celebrating a birthday. I expectd it ti be nice but the service food and ambiance exceeded my expectations.

    We had reservations at 6:30 but we’re not seated until 730. What’s the point of a reservation? OpenTable didn’t work.
