   Excellent service. Good for family with children. Kids enjoyed their food from the kid’s menu. Delicious food from the main menu.

   We chose Wildflower to celebrate a special occasion and since we were staying at the Fairmont we trusted this would be a great experience. We arrived and were asked if we were there for any special reason (we told the hostess - and I had written in the booking it was for a career milestone). In the end this question didn't lead anywhere, as I would have expected perhaps congratulations to be written on the dessert or something (which has happened at other restaurants). Or at the very least for the server to comment on it in some way, but that didn't happen. The drinks were delicious but took very long to arrive. I asked for slices of lemon for our sparkling water, I had to ask another three times before it arrived. Even though there weren't very many patrons in the restaurant our food was very delayed in arriving. The server apologized to my husband but did not speak to the table. I actually had to ask for the dessert menu when the two servers were busy talking to each other (I am guessing they were getting ready to close the restaurant rather than helping the customers who were still there). Not every one we encountered gave bad service but overall we were very disappointed. The food was exceptional but the lack of service really ruined the whole experience.

   American Thanksgiving was terrible. The mashed potatoes were whipped so much they were like glue. The turkey was dry and tasted old. The food must have been sitting all evening. It was not a good value.

   The dinner ended up being $100/person which was ridiculous given that the whole experience was below average. The salads arrived 15 minutes before our cocktails. The short ribs were very fatty and tough. Several pieces were not edible. The Thanksgiving dinner was not better or worse than any average Thanksgiving dinner. Our server was friendly but very slow. After she asked twice how the short ribs tasted, we shared that they were fatty and tough. We were charged the full $50+ for that meal. We will not go back. Whistler has many other dining options that are superior both in quality and value.

   I love the food in this restaurant, especially the new creative vegan and vegetarian dishes vegan gnocchi however changed and it’s not as good as it used to be. We had a nice experience here. The food has improved in the last few years.

   We were seated in The Grill Room and had the 4 course Prix Fixe menu. The server was awesome - attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. We would gladly return. Keep up the excellent work. The food was excellent with seasonal offerings and well prepared. See you on our next trip.

   Great restaurant and very accommodating for children. This was our first time bringing our 3 kids to a nice restaurant and the staff was very friendly and patient with them. We even witnessed a waiter performing card tricks for a child seated at another table. I think this will be our new Thanksgiving tradition while we’re living in Canada!

    Thanksgiving at the wildflower was possibly the greatest meal of my life. Can’t recommend it enough. Just amazing. I think we have a new tradition
