Tiburon Fine Dining has quietly become one of Utah's premier restaurants. Tiburon is located in the south end of the Salt Lake valley in an unassuming building that formerly housed a fruit stand. But don't be fooled, Tiburon serves award-winning contemporary American cuisine ranging from pan-seared Beef Tenderloin with Foie Gras and Madiera syrup to Black Sesame-Crusted Ahi Tuna with Honey and Soy Marinated Carrots. The Crab Cakes consistently win best in the state and the salads are raved about by the locals. But it does not end with the food, service is always top-notch. Led by a staff that has been with owners since its opening in 1999, guests always feel welcomed in the warm and friendly atmosphere. And in the Summer with it's patio dining. Tiburon is the place to dine in the South Valley.

    I loved my salmon. We loved the bison and the elk!! We love the salad!! My husband doesn’t love your tenderloin. He doesn’t think it’s as high quality as other similarly priced restraunts. That was the only downside for him. He liked the gravy.. which he dusky doesn’t prefer a gravy in his tenderloin! Our waiter was awesome and accommodating!! The birthday desserts were a surprise! It was a fun evening!!

    Food was excellent, ingredient quality was second to none, and the meal was well paced. Atmosphere is nice. Waitstaff is incredibly welcoming. With my budget and I think for most people, this is a special occasion restaurant and I will be back.

    This was our first visit, but not our last. The menu is small, but they excel at what they cook. We started with the scallops. The scallops were large, and the relish added to the flavor. We next tried the elk, and it was as tasteful as a top-choice fillet.

    We have 8 in our party. It was cold by the window, but the staff brought in a small heater and it was fine. Everything was great and we will definately come back.

    We have been dining at tiburon for over 20 years. The food, service and ambience is consistently excellent. We have never been disappointed in a meal at tiburon. This visit was no different. 2 persons at our table had the elk tenderloin, 1 had the filet and another the special which was swordfish/shrimp. We also had the crab cake appetizer. The quality of everything we had was outstanding. While relatively expensive, I don't mind paying for truly excellent dinner. We will continue to patronize tiburon whenever we visit the salt lake area.

    Excellent! Celebrated a birthday and everything was perfect. One of our party was gluten intolerant and the staff knew which dishes to avoid/modify without consulting the kitchen. We started with the caprese salad (with their in-house heirloom tomatoes), rib-eye and filet mignon for mains, and finished with the chocolate mouse. Everything was fantastic. I forgot my credit card, and our server called me before I'd even gotten on the freeway. This was my first visit, and I will definitely be back.
