Overall a good experience. Reservation was a little delayed and not immediately greeted at the table. Ambiance is outstanding. Food was excellent!

Went on Valentine’s Day. We love Tidepools. Great food and ambiance. Derek was our food server and gave us fantastic service. Fish was outstanding as well as the wine. Definitely worth your visit! Mahalo

Tidepools at the Grand Hyatt Resort and Spa offers one of the most breathtaking dining atmospheres my wife and I have ever experienced. Nestled beneath the main hotel, the restaurant floats atop serene koi ponds, surrounded by lush tropical foliage, with the soothing sound of ocean waves in the background. It was the perfect setting for our Valentine's Day dinner. We indulged in the special Valentine's Day couple's dinner, which included a beautifully presented single-stem rose for my wife. Every dish was exceptional—the steak was flawlessly cooked, the lobster pasta featured some of the freshest lobster I've ever tasted, and the spinach and goat cheese salad was a simple yet elegant start to the meal. Without a doubt, we would recommend Tidepools to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. A true gem!

Our experience was outstanding! We loved every minute of the experience, from the beautiful setting, the decor, the very responsive service, our beverages and, especially, the food. We started with the garlic covered baked rolls. Our friends had a caesar salad while we very much enjoyed our perfectly cooked and seasoned scallops (3) of large size that my partner and I shared. Both couples had one serving apiece of the macadamia nut coated mahi-mahi, which, again, was perfectly cooked and delicious. Their special "cole slaw" was delicious. The staff cut the portions in half in the kitchen without our specific instructions, knowing that 4 people were sharing two orders. The beautiful presentation of the fish was thus preserved. Our friend was celebrating her birthday and was rewarded with a creme brûlée for dessert, as were we. We paid for ours. They also split the bill in three, instead of 2 or 4, so the three of us could each contribute to our friend's birthday celebration. We loved the whole experience.

Always a wonderful, romantic experience dining at Tidepools. Service (Derek) was very good and efficient. Fresh fish, great presentation. A bit pricey but go at least once!

Absolutely perfect. Everything was spectacular. Food, service, ambiance, friendly staff… cannot say enough. Went for a birthday dinner. Definitely a memorable experience. Worth every penny.

Wonderful food. Unique and beautiful atmosphere. Situatedin the middle of a huge Koi pond, with softsea breezes - tables are situated for privacy. The crab cakes were phenomenal and the filet mignon cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

Tide pools was a beautiful, lovely experience. The food was very good. We had the Hawaiian catch, Filet, and started with scallops. We enjoyed the sunset here. Yes, it’s a splurge but it was a very memorable meal on vacation.
