Sat at the bar. Rob, the bartender, was fabulous. What a great meal and evening!! The Bistro is a 30-minute drive for us but we've decided it's worth it. . . we plan to become regulars.

Very enjoyable bar area to eat and enjoy a cocktail or two with a fun community of people. Eating, drinking, and conversation always a winner for me. Bar staff is excellent and also fun.

It wasn’t like it used to be. I felt rushed by the waiter after I repeatedly asked him to pace us. He also appeared to be new. The oysters on the half we had were absolutely awful. There was no saltiness or buttery or anything to their taste they were blah. I drowned mine in mignonette just to give them some flavor. Apparently they were Todd’s favorite according to the menu. I couldn’t tell you why. The food was average for the price. The menu seemed played out. I have had everything on it somewhere else and possibly better elsewhere. Nothing knocked my socks off. Service really lacked.

My son was visiting and I wanted to take him out for a nice dining experience. We chose Todd Jurich because of their high-quality food, which was not disappointing. The service, however, was disappointing. The hostess told us who our waiter would be but he did not introduce himself and we had forgotten what the hostess said. Our anonymous waiter was very curt. His answers were short, and blunt, as if he was interested in doing as little as possible. It took quite a long time for our cocktails to arrive, but there was a large party at the bar which was probably the reason, but there was no explanation from our waiter. Once our food arrived, it was as ordered and was delicious. We would have ordered wine with the meal but we were never asked if we would like wine. After we finished our meal, he did ask if we wanted dessert but I had decided to go somewhere else, where the staff felt more like making my experience more enjoyable, rather than simply functional.

We enjoyed our dinner and the ambiance. The bar staff and the waitress were phenomenal. We will definitely be back to enjoy some other dishes we didn’t have.
