Located in the heart of Hudson in the beautiful development know as First and Main.

The Tomato Grill features a wide array of entrée choices that are sure to please every guest. The Tomato Grill is well known for its excellent entrees such as its chicken and veal saltimbocca and crab-stuffed salmon. It has a full-service bar with a wine selection that pleases every palette.

The Tomato Grill is open six days a week for lunch and dinner, closed Sunday. Tomato Grill invites you to join us for a night of fun, relaxation, and excellent cuisine!

We usually have an excellent experience there but this time it was different. While the ambience is excellent, my food was barely warm, let alone hot, when it arrived at the table. My wife's chicken parmigiana, which is usually excellent, was so tough that she could barely cut into it - there was one relatively tender piece and she left the other on the plate. When our server asked if she wanted a box for the leftover and she said "no thanks" and explained why, the server did not even offer an "I'm sorry" or "I will let the chef know" or words to that effect. This was an unusual experience for us so I am wondering if they are having staffing issues.

Great food! Service was super good considering it was New Years Eve. Our server did a great job. Minimal wait time for our food.

Excellent service. Love this restaurant. Food was very good, not quite as good as normal! Very busy making it a little louder than usual.

Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. We had to wait to be seated as the hostess was on the phone taking a phone order but that was the least of the issues. We were seated at a nice booth, the waitress stopped by relatively quickly but seemed very rushed. We placed some drink orders, she got them wrong. When we told her there was an extra drink she was obviously irritated and tried to blame it on us. We told her not to worry, just leave it there but she did not listen. We placed our food orders...she got them right but the service was more like we were in a fast serve breakfast joint. Food was dropped at the table with no fanfare or personality. We tried on multiple occasions to get her attention and when we did it was obvious from her expressions that we were an inconvenience to her. The food was not good. Three of us had veal, over done, dry and tasteless. One of us had mussels...big bowl, maybe 10 to 12 mussels lost in a big bowl of flavorless broth...and no bread to soak it up if it was good. We got a very brief visit to see if everything was good...before we could answer we were in her rear view mirror as she moved to another table. We would have loved to enjoy the night and maybe a bite for dessert but we just paid the bill and left...disappointed. We would have had better food and certainly better service at any number of places in the area, the Tomato Grill is not on our list for a return. Three stars was very generous.
