If you go go for the sushi. It’s actually good if you go for the hibachi… Don’t hibachi experience was boring. Chef basically just cooked the food and serve us… No flare or show. We were at the table for an hour before the hibachi part even started. Hibachi meal was basically soup, whatever you picked for your entrée and basic fried rice… No dessert I even put in the reservation that we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday and .. nothing. Ambience straight up sucked. It looks nothing like the pictures online and was pretty empty for a Saturday night.

Having a shared chef and making us wait for 30 minutes for a shared chef is just plain cruel. We arrived early to get served first and leave first. This wasn’t the case. A shared chef for Hibachi makes no sense. *Shared chef means the chef working at TWO DIFFERENT HIBACHI GRILLS.

The cook was poo, no-show like you normally have at a hibachi. He didn’t even make an attempt to entertain us. The rice was cooked way too quickly and did not right.

I would not recommend eating here…the quality of the sushi was highly questionable. I am surprised we did not get sick.

We had a large group (14 people) and Tomo accommodated the group without any issue. The food was very good and everyone had a great time.

Service good , food tasted old and yum yum sauce definitely old , nothing tasted fresh , yum yum sauce nasty tang to it and upset stomach later in nigh confirms it was old

As a Hibachi restaurant it does not seem up to par compared to other places I have been. The food was decent, but the chef seemed ill-prepared and for a friday night only one Hibachi stove top was in use.

TOMO is my favorite restaurant in Cleveland. Lily is absolutely amazing! She runs that place with speed & grace and makes you feel right at home. Service is always impeccable. It’s always great to see the wonderful owners, Mr. & Mrs. Lucic too! You can tell as soon as you walk in the door that they take pride in what they do from the menu of mouth-watering options, fresh ingredients of the sushi & hibachi, to the sleek ambience. TOMO is always a great experience. BEST IN CLEVELAND! You’re missing out if you don’t hear to TOMO!
