The volunteer historian was excellent. He sat with us at our table and gave us background history on Vic Bergeron (not sure of the spelling) and the history of Trader Vic’s and Tiki. Then walked us around the entire restaurant and pointed out things. He carried an iPad and showed us historical photos and shots from movies that were filmed in the restaurant. It was so enjoyable. He’s a volunteer so no fee, we gave him a tip.

I’ve been to a few tiki places that were great. This wasn’t one of them. 4 of the 5 dishes we ordered were literally cold (and we sent them back to be microwaved). The drinks were overpriced and under inspired in my opinion. The waiter was rushing our table to make decisions and speaking too quickly for my of us to understand. My dish was good but others at the table got got disappointed and stopped eating theirs halfway through. Meh. I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be coming back. Wasn’t worth the $460 we paid for 5 people. Wish we had gone somewhere else.

Had a very good meal here. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the trademark peanut butter spread was great. Service was a bit slow, but I’m also a fast eater. Was a bit cold next to the windows, so bring a sweater

Excited to try something fun! Drinks were great! Half the food was delicious and half was over cooked and tasteless. A little disappointed for the price. 3 drinks, appetizer, and 2 entrees was $160 before tip.

So disappointed in this visit to Trader Vic’s. We went two nights in a row for a birthday celebration. The food is no longer cooked in the Chinese ovens. We sat by the ovens and the server said our food would be cooked in the ovens - in two hours we never saw a single item cooked in the ovens. The food was covered in heavy gravy, the shrimp were minuscule and not grilled. The taste profile is horrible. Drinks were good. Please revert back to using the ovens, I’ve had better Chinese takeout for a fraction of the cost.

We’re glad you enjoyed the drinks, and we’d love to welcome you back soon for a better dining experience that truly reflects the spirit of the place. Mahalo, Maurice Pinder, Jr.

If you're looking for a Tiki restaurant THIS IS THE PLACE. WOW. The most authentic tiki place I've ever see. And the great part is they have wonderful drinks and food to go along with it! I highly recommend this place to anyone in Atlanta. Note - they have their own secret elevator to get to it!
