    The food was great. Unfortunately the service had a bit to be desired. Two of the glasses brought to the table had to be returned because there were lipstick traces on them. We were never asked for drink refills, we had to request them. Lastly, we were given the wrong bill & then it took forever to get that straightened out (and by then lunchtime was over sot there really wasn't anyone left in the restaurant.

    The oysters were delicious and unlimited as part of the dinner. The shrimp were also delicious. Great family dinner!

    Excellent service but way overpriced for mediocre food. And then they served rocklike stale bread & stale rolls to reinforce the mediocrity.

    We were there for the Thanksgiving Buffet dinner which may account for the poor quality food. The leg of lamb was very overcooked and tough (very well done), the turkey and fish entrees were also very overdone, the soup, while tasty, was cold, starters and salads were mostly ok except the shrimp which were also very overcooked.

    Perfect Thanksgiving dining experience. The food was traditional and modernly delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the ambience was classy! Definitely recommend.

    This was a delightful thanksgiving dinner for 4 - buffet style. Plenty of variety which never ran out. The staff have done a great job putting this together.

    Server was great but service was slow which was not the servers fault. Conference was going on, but given this hotel, in my opinion, they should be used to the amount of people at any given time. Perhaps they did not have enough help.

    Looking for a family restaurant near colonial Williamsburg that was relatively affordable for a nice lunch and Traditions lived up to that billing. Sandwiches were huge, the fries and fruit salad sides were of considerable portions, the desserts were magnificent and the wait staff was friendly and checked on us often to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. My daughter thought one of the chicken sandwiches was the best she ever had. The desserts were sweet and large although probably a few dollars more than they should have been. We also had the pimento cheese appetizer which was perfectly priced and portioned for three or four people. Well we like to try different places when we're out, Traditions really did an amazing job and served us well allowing us to get right back into our day in Colonial Williamsburg. We would definitely consider going back in a pinch, especially for lunch. We recommend others also give this place by try. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
