I ordered the citrus orange glazed salmon salad and was given plain salmon with no glaze. They said they were out of the glaze. No one came to me in advance to let me know that they were out of the glaze so I could’ve changed my order. I was just expected to eat the plain salmon. I was charged full price. I asked the waiter for a discount since I did not get my full meal. She spoke with the manager and gave me a 10% discount, which is ridiculous. So disappointing because I have eaten at True Foods many times and have never been treated so dismissively.

Our server was amazing, he did a great job recommending wonderful dishes and a delicious appetizer. He was quick with many ice tea refills and was so friendly and positive and helpful. Giovanni was the best server we have had there.

I don't know San Diego very well and was excited when I found this place online. Locally sourced ingredients? Yay! I wasn't expecting what felt like a chain restaurant inside of a mall. And I know prices have gone up at restaurants, but a tuna bowl for $25. was still a bit shocking. Even worse was that it didn't taste good. Nothing anyone ordered did. It was truly subpar. I was so disappointed!!!

I’ve been here before and was not impressed. As a winner of the promo, I received the tender chicken strips plate. It was not that great, as I had expected. Nothing as far of Birthday celebration either. I was rather disappointed.

I look forward to having dinner with my son and his wife at true foods, we come at least once a month - usually more. We are always treated so well and the food is always amazing. This restaurant is awesome. Thank you.

I had a reservation for 5pm and we sat down right away. Our server came by to take drink orders but didn’t take our food order until 45 minutes later. It wasn’t that busy and half the time someone in my party had to go look for her to tell her we were ready to order. We finished eating and was ready for the check. Someone in my party found her just standing and not really paying attention to us. We had been trying to wave her down for the check to no avail. I asked for teriyaki sauce on the side and she forgot. I asked for salt too and she forgot that also and had to be flagged down for both, multiple times.
