   Very quiet night at the restaurant and not many customers. The $33 date night menu we chose. Great giant meatball. Very piping hot bolognese was good. Dessert tray- good tiramisu, cannolis and ice cream didn’t seem fresh. The gelato was grimmy and not smooth. No tea but cappuccino. Come to find out new machine not there yet.

   I visited Tuscan Kitchen on Valentine’s Day, and I unfortunately, had a poor experience with the service. From the beginning, there was a clear lack of coordination among the staff. Our order was forgotten, and at one point, a wrong dish was placed on our table due to confusion. It took a long time for anyone to check on us, and when we finally wanted to order dessert, our waiter took over 30 minutes to come back. He What made the situation worse was when the waiter excused the delay by saying it’s been a long day, It honestly felt like she didn’t want to take our order because it was the end of the night. After the long wait, we decided not to order dessert at all. Ironically, the only thing that was done quickly was bringing us the bill. The one positive aspect of our visit was the host, who seated us with kindness and professionalism. However, the rest of the service was disappointing. I hope the restaurant works on better training and coordination to improve the overall experience for customers.

   They didn’t have their act together. Drinks were forgotten, our dinner came while our apps were still at the table. The waiter was hard to track down.

   I went to Tuscan at the Seaport on New Year's and thought it was wonderful, so I decided to try the one in Burlington on Valentine's Day and regretted it. The food wasn't bad, it was disastrous. It was really unpalatable. This was my first and last time going to Tuscan in Burlington.

   The back private room was opened for Valentine’s Day and they had nicely spaced tables with white table clothes and fire in the fireplace. Service was prompt and friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. Price was reasonable - mid 30s for a homemade tortellini plate with braised pork and cheese inside- tasted amazing. Salad was creative and tasty with toasted pear, cranberries, and sweetened walnuts. 5 out of 5 for me!

    From the staff to the food was just on point and never felt rushed and you were never waiting long for anything you asked for .
