   Food was good, but not as good as usual tbh but the staff was rushing us. Constantly at our dide pushing us to order quickly which was super annoying since they weren’t doing it to anyone else. Also, every time I took a dip of water or sake they kept refilling. Felt way too rushed and it was a special occasion. Sat in front room and noise level was insane by 7 pm. Not sure I’ll go back anytime soon.

   A little noisy would be my only complaint- but the food was AMAZING, and our server was quick and had great suggestions.

   My wife and I went for a belated Valentine’s Day dinner celebration. Our food was delicious and service was very good. In addition, while helping my wife out after dinner - she was on a knee scooter with broken ankle- I walked out and accidentally left my cell phone on our table. A wonderful female server ran out of restaurant with my phone, looked around in the night, and somehow found me to return it. How many others out there would be so courteous? Thanks, UMI!!

   UMI never disappoints. The staff is amazing and always making sure we are well taken care of. My favorite cocktail would be their Moscow Mule. My favorite dishes is the Butter Poached Maine Lobster tail and Dive Scallop. It’s the perfect spot for a date night or girls night out.

   Khoi was our server and he was absolutely perfect!! Great personality and was super attentive. I honestly can’t wait for our next visit. The food was yummy like always. Perfect date night!!!

   We have been customers here for 8+ years and always have a consistent top tier experience. Last night was not this and we clearly have seen a change in staff and food quality. My wife’s miso cod arrived completely dry after my roll had already come out. We flagged a waiter and they took it back. Over 20 minutes later and asking staff 3x (no one ever came back to the table), we had her cod delivered long after I had finished my roll. So we both got to watch each other eat a meal alone while together on Valentine’s weekend. No offer of a glass of wine, etc. Manager was shocked when we said we did not want to pay for the Cod. Very poor experience.

    Every time we come to Atlanta, we have to come to Umi. The food is and service are always fabulous. We celebrated our daughter's 21st birthday here and they made it so special. We brought someone who had never had the privilege of eating here, and he said he has now been ruined for all other sushi! It was exceptionally busy and loud, which is my only complaint, but will never stop us from coming back. There is no beating the wagyu beef nigiri, or the lobster toban-yaki!
