Union 50 is an innovative, chef driven restaurant and bar located in the Mass Ave neighborhood in Indianapolis, IN. Our dinner menu features creative dishes that change seasonally. Our full service bar features local libations and handcrafted cocktails.

    Vibe: A main reason I love this place. Open concept. Very high ceilings. Gorgeous bar. Relaxed upscale feel. Food: Order the Mushrooms! Highly recommend the mushrooms to share for 4 people+. How good could they be for $19? Really good. They are beautifully platted on a large wooden board, expertly cooked and seasoned. And... the surprise inside... underneath the mushrooms is a generous portion of mouthwatering porkbelly. Poutine: Go during happy hour (5-6pm) and get them half off. You can split one with someone if you're not super hungry or finish the whole thing yourself as your meal. Wine list: Quite large and with impressive quality/unique offerings. It's marked up quite a bit, but that's not different from other restaurants. Make sure to check if you're ordering full or half bottles. They have both and you can mistake the half bottles as a good value. Service: Generally good. Brandon brought us wine glasses instead of champagne classes. He mispoured the champagne and didn't have any left for the last class. He was apologetic and kind about it.

    Love this place. Such a good energy. The perfect spot for any occasion. Could come to Union 50 dressed in sweats or a tux - it’s such a great mix with a great ambience for everything.

    We're long time patrons of Union 50. Last night was my husband's birthday and they brought a special candle out for the table and the staff had a signed card. I had the pork chop and my husband had their excellent beef tenderloin. Thanks to one of our favorite waiters, Brandon who often takes care of us. The staff at Union 50 are all top notch!

    This is not the first time that I have dined here and it will not be my last. My wife and I had dinner with three other couples and for two of the couples it was their first Union 50 experience. All of us were impressed by the speed of the food delivery, the taste of the food and our overall dining experience. They too agreed that they would be back.
