   Urban Grub is a regular favorite of mine. I love it so much that I went there for a Christmas party brunch yesterday and a dinner with family from out of town today. I don’t regret it at all! Brunch- holy cow, that bacon is amazing. Why? They make it in house. Cheesy grits with a dream-like texture, buttery biscuits, sausage with a kick and the crab beignets with remoulade 🤤 Tonight we had wood fired mussels, more beignets, steaks (steak frites & steak and biscuits), fish (trout and salmon) and crab cakes along with the asparagus and twice baked potatoes. Wow. Literally everything was perfect. On top of it, our primary server (Blake) was really knowledgeable and friendly. We had a secondary server -as well, and then several other people who checked on us throughout the night. Everyone was great, We've been there multiple times before, and this experience is not unusual. Urban Grub consistently delivers, and I look forward to my next experience there.

   Hosts needs better training. We made a reservations for 3 guest & we came in about 30 min early, so we asked for first available, host said that we were checked in & that we’ll be seated closer to our reservation time so we thought that they must be booked. We’ll, we waited by the host stand and watched the host seat at least 3 walk in’s (party of 4’s) seated before us. You would think that she would seat us & not make us wait, well she did. Host needs better training & common sense customer service. We come here all the time & noise level is always loud. Service is touch & go, I had to look for my server several times.

   We were seated at a table in the dining room where the various is located. Woah!!! It was only 4:45 and too loud. Service was great. Disappointed in the lettuces wedge . Nit a true lettuce wedge. Imagine I won’t go back any time soon.

   Great atmosphere, great service (our server was Ryan. ). There were more than one Ryan but both were great. Food is very good. It is pricey but we always enjoy eating there.

   We were seated almost immediately at our reservation time, even though it was busy! The food was excellent, every person we interacted with was delightful, and they made our friends’ birthday and graduation celebrations sweet with celebratory chocolate toppers. Would/will absolutely dine here again and again.
