    Valette is a must-do on any itinerary in Healdsburg. Chef, Dustin Valette, creates the most memorable dinner with locally sourced fresh foods. The service is fantastic and the ambiance of the restaurant itself is stellar. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

    We celebrated our 50th anniversary at Valette just as they celebrated their 10th anniversary! The staff welcomed us and celebrated with us throughout the evening! We had the 4 course menu- the duck was simply the best duck breast with duck sausage that I’ve ever had! Spectacular food and exceptional service without an air of pretense. We felt like we were part of a large family! Thank you for making our 50th anniversary celebration such a memorable experience!

    Lisa Rhorer and I had yet another excellent dining experience celebrating Valettes 10 year anniversary. We started with the Hawaiian Ahi poke and both had the scallop.dish which have evolved lovely over the years- so tasty and unique with perfectly cooked scallop and then with both also had the petrole sole stuffed with Dungeness crab. Dustin and Aaron had battled the pandemic, fires, floods and the brutal economy swings to make it 10 years! Lisa owner her own restaurants so we know how difficult this feat is. Cheers to another great evening! We appreciate you and team Valette.

    A great time celebrating the 10th anniversary of what I hope becomes a Healdsburg mainstay. The staff, the food, the service are all firing on all cylinders. A great team working to create an exceptional dining experience.

    I love Valette. My spouse and I go there at least twice a month because the food is amazing and most of all the staff always goes over and above to make sure you are taken care of while dining. Last night, we went to celebrate Valette's 10th year anniversary and had the 6-course dinner and I must say I wasn't disappointed once with any of the courses.

    Party of 2. As required, paid upfront, including 20% service charge. Some dishes were very good (wagyu beef appetizer) some excellent (scallop, duck), others could have been better (crab in the sole was under-seasoned; serve more mature, more varied, and room temperature cheese in the surcharge cheese course). Portion sizes were small overall (and as good as the scallop was, it is on the menu as ‘scallops’, plural). Service inconsistent: half hour wait for reserved table; putting a splash of welcome wine at the table w/o checking preference (one of us is not a fan of Sauvignon Blanc); wine order at main course was forgotten - on reminder served ‘on the house’, but showed up on final check. Wine card offered good variety and good value. Meeting one of the owners just for a chat was very pleasant. We could grow fond of this restaurant if it would cure issues flagged - but they seem to have a forgiving clientele. We wish it well.

    Valette has always been one of our favorite dining spots, and their 10-year celebration menu did not disappoint. As usual, the staff was outstanding, with the service feeling both attentive and personal. A special shoutout to Adrian—our go-to bartender—who never fails to elevate the experience. We always request to sit at the bar just to be in his care, and he made sure everything was perfect as always. The four-course menu was a well-curated journey of flavors, celebrating a decade of excellence. Each dish showcased the restaurant’s signature balance of creativity and quality ingredients. From the first bite to the last, it was clear why Valette has remained a staple for so long. Overall, the night was a testament to why we keep coming back—exceptional food, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that makes every visit feel special. Cheers to another decade of Valette!

    Service was very good. There were good reasonable wine selections by the glass. Scallop appetizer and Brussel sprouts side were my favorite! My husband had the duck which was delicious.
