   Another wonderful dining experience at Vee Vee. It was a delicious meal and great to have some of our treasured favorites back on the menu.

   We always enjoyed the ambience and food at VeeVee before it's move to Caribbean flavors over the last year. It's nice to have them back but with a nice mix of old classics like crispy shiitakes and butterscotch pudding as well as an oyster flight and some nice seafood entrees. Service and atmosphere just like it always was. We can't wait until their lovely private outdoor patio opens as spring returns!

   Really good food, nice variety on a small menu. Attentive wait staff. I would definitely recommend it!

   Nice neighborhood restaurant, cozy ambiance, very nice service, allowed us to linger talking, food was well prepared but limited menu, $$$.

   Vee Vee is a little cozy gem with a cool vibe in Jamaica Plain. Our meal, from appetizers to desserts, were YUMMY !! We savored every single bite. The staff works hard and are friendly and attentive. You will even get a warm welcoming from owners, Kristen and Dan. We will be back. :)

   Coziest of neighborhood spots with the friendliest servers! Whoever is working the fryer is an artisan of Crispiness. My partner she liked the vegetarian gorditas even more than in years past. And she *always* ordered the gorditas! High praise.

   VeeVee's offer a rare and precious combination of outstanding food and service that is both professional and personal. If you come in from time to time, the owners Dan and Kirsten will know your name and welcome you as friends. Now back to their own menu, after an exciting period of Afro-Caribbean menus by Black Cat, the kitchen builds on its strengths. The fried Shitake app is fabulous. The bread pudding is out of this world. In between, try the amazing mac and cheese in a skillet or any of the specials or the gorditas with different fillings from week to week. We love Vee Vees and feel fortunate to leave nearby.

   A local gem of a restaurant in JP that I have been eating at for years with a fresh new menu, friendly staff and amazing tastes. From near or far, it is 100% worth the visit, you will not be disappointed. Shiitake mushrooms, steak, tuna, oysters, gorditas and the infamous, always on the menu butterscotch pudding are just a few of the must haves to eat and if you are looking for a good beer - Danny Vee always has something fun and thirst quenching on tap. Owners Dan and Kristen have for 17+years been bringing us great food and a local place where you always feel at home. Go try it out - you will soon become a regular too!

   We tried almost everything on the menu and every dish was so amazing and flavorful . We even re-ordered a few of the appetizers again because they were sssooo good . We all could not stop talking about it . kudos to Valentine Howell for his amazing creation of black Cat Tacos can’t wait to see where it pops up next.
