   Aaron took care of us this evening…he was a pro and helped us with food and drink selections. Food was delicious. The only down side was that we were placed in a small area in the back of the resturant which which was also hosting a large table of very happy diners. This made conversation next to impossible. Requests to be reseated were not honored Due to high level of bookings.

   I’m quite surprised this place has a good reputation. It’s clearly a churn and burn sort of place, feeding 100’s of diners each night. Our oysters arrived lukewarm….twice. The shrimp was lackluster. The French onion soup had a huge glop of cheese in it that was not exactly delightful. However, the pecan grouper, when it finally arrived, was delicious.

   Ambience was terrific. Food was good but not exceptional. Overall service was good but somewhat slow. Overall experience was ok but not what I anticipated

   Food was amazing. The fried green tomatoes were perfectly fried, the balsamic, tomatoes and goat cheese were the perfect addition. Our server, Wesley, was super friendly and knowledgeable. Gave several incredible recommendations and kept the atmosphere light and fun. Would definitely recommend Vic’s on the River when you’re visiting Savannah!

   Our server, Nick was outstanding! Very attentive and professional! My husband had a shrimp dish and l had salmon— both excellent choices! We will definitely be back!

   Great food. Service was just ok. We would have ordered another round of drinks but our glasses sat empty after we finished dinner as we waited (a long time) for dessert.

   Going out to eat on a holiday can end up being a mistake. But, as usual, Vic’s handled Easter, as though it was just another day. Our server, who was surprised we were locals, (he said he mostly served visitors)was friendly yet professional and while service seemed just right to us, apologized for any delays. The food, both the choices and preparations were delicious and beautiful to look at. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked that way. Vic’s, while upscale and a Savannah main stay, continues to provide a great meal and is a good value. As historical interpreters at a Savannah house museum we recommend Vic’s often. Looking forward to our next visit. Bravo!

   Our server Madeline was friendly, efficient and accommodating. Our appy's and dinners were delicious1 We really enjoyed the selection of signature cocktails. Of course you can't beat the view of the river.

    Good service from our greeter ,waitress was attentive to our needs.The young man that brought our food was very polite.We were seated next to the waiters door making it a little noisy and busy.But the food and service very good.
