Vic’s is located in a beautiful old cotton warehouse overlooking the Savannah River and Historic River Street. With entrances on both Bay and River Streets, we are easy to access. Pets are welcomed on our outdoor patio, where guests can dine under centuries-old Live Oaks overlooking Historic Factors Walk.     The dinner was absolutely phenomenal. We were seated right after we walked in. We did have reservations that we had made prior to. The waitress, Mary, was wonderful. She was very attentive and kind. We started the dinner with the lump crab cake and it was wonderful. We each ordered the salmon and couscous which was cooked to absolute perfection. It was our wedding anniversary and the waitress brought out a very decadent chocolate dessert for us to share. The entire evening was wonderful. The food was amazing. We would definitely have dinner there again. The only negative I can say about the entire evening was That the noise level was a bit much. I truly expected a quieter dinner.

    I have never left a poor review but if you are traveling to Savannah and have limited time, dine at other establishments. Evening started with a very rude hostess and I will spare the details but one of the rudest I have ever encountered. When we were eventually escorted to our table, despite a reservation and despite having to be moved, the waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food, however, was mediocre at best. Ordered beef carpaccio which was good, fried green tomatoes were underwhelming as were the scallops, fried chicken was dry, mac and cheese needed seasoning as did the collard greens. All in all a disappointing experience and would not recommend.

    Underwhelming. Drinks mediocre. Dinner bland. Restaurant itself is charming. Pre dinner drinks and appetizer at Vic’s River Grille at the river level were outstanding. I highly recommend it.

    Wonderful atmosphere and food. Very Quaint and service is always the best and professional. Highly recommend. We love to go for special occasions and to celebrate at our favorite restaurant.

    We went for our anniversary. We are local so have been to Vic’s but not in a few years. We were given a table with a diagonal view of the river. Seated promptly. Service was good although no price quoted for the specials. Bread was fine. Caesar salad was good. We had both specials. Fish was dry and more fishy than it should have been. It gave my husband an upset stomach afterwards. I ordered steak medium rare. It arrived bloody so I sent it back. This resulted in my husband and I eating sequentially for our anniversary dinner. Not ideal. We did get a piece of cake at the end on the house. Bill was $160 for two people including 20% tip. We won’t be back.

    The food was phenomenal. We had the crab cake and the spicy shrimp as a starter, they were excellent. The shrimp and grits were the best I have had and the filet was also one of the best. Our waiter had great suggestions. We highly recommend this restaurant!
