Love this restaurant and it’s coziness and you do feel like you’re part of that Italian family feeling! Food was excellent during dine out week and portions were just right. Service was very attentive.

We were going to be given the table right next to the front door on a very cold night. When I asked for another option we were sat in the basement in the furthest back corner of the room. We waited a while to get our order taken (people next to us arrived after and had their food first), waiter was absent for most of the meal (never came to ask how the food was or if we needed anything like water), the wait staff stood near us on their phones ignoring people unless you looked over for assistance. I’ve made reservations and also dined without one at this restaurant two dozen times and I’m extremely disappointed with the staff. The host also never checked us in so I was asked by OpenTable if I was a no show. Will not be returning.

Food was good Service was very very slow our waiter forgot about us and it was not very busy for a Saturday Tables were empty 3 of us got our first course the 4th waited 20 minutes after first 3 for his. Timed very poorly We had dessert with the dine out Boston menu’s and we literally had to track down our waiter and ask for it Service usually is a lot better here We were celebrating an anniversary which was on the reservation and told to them when we got there and nothing was ever said or done

This was a bit disappointing because the reviews were so great. The atmosphere was really nice, the service was a 10 but the menu was disappointing and limited. As for our food, it was mediocre. I’ve had many meals throughout the North End and I wouldn’t recommend this place to friends, unfortunately.

Haven't been to this restaurant in years - the food was outstanding. We had a mozzarella and a mussels appetizer, sole and pasta norma. All fresh and each with a different sauce. Great chef. We will go back! Try it - great!

Food was very good, however there were a couple things that stuck out Many of the tables were very close together, it made it hard to get in or out of seats and felt like there was no privacy. It also made it hard to hear your own conversation. We also felt as though we were rushed through our meal by our server. We were made to order drinks, apps, and main courses all at once, and things were brought out so quickly we didn't have time to finish or fully enjoy what we had gotten, For a Valentine's Day weekend meal, we were expecting something a little longer than 45 minutes in and out.
