   Waitress wasn’t very attentive. Didn’t box our food. The Food was ok! Mac and cheese was dry and not cheesy. Fried green tomatoes were over cooked. Would give 3 stars mostly for ambience

   Amazing service, attentive but not over bearing, appetizers, main fare and dessert were worth every penny! Brussels and pot roast strongly recommend!!

   Very nice evening. We were seated immediately, staff was very welcoming and service was excellent. Our food was excellent, particularly the Beef Pot Roast, the corn bread, and the sides with the Beef Pot Roast. Very pleasant environment and it was quiet...we were able to talk easily.

   I think our order was late because our waitress had to check on it. But it was worth waiting for…large portions & delicious.

   The food was hit and miss. The negatives: they were out of several wine options. We ended up walking over to the wine shop and buying a bottle and paid a cork fee. Brussels sprouts were soggy, the half chicken was bland, and the collard greens had an odd flavor. The apple dessert was WAY TOO powerful with a strong cinnamon (maybe even some cloves) flavoring. They had the butane candles on all the tables burning the whole time which was nice for ambiance, but felt invasive to the lungs. The waitress didn't have great knowledge on what menu items were gluten free and I almost ate something I wasn't supposed to. Luckily, she caught me in time. The positives: the staff was friendly, the ambience was wonderful. The meatloaf was "the best" my husband ever had, the fried pork was great and the lamb was flavorful. But the MOST DELICIOUS treat was the ice cream!! Hands down - the best we've ever had!! We just wish we had known so we all could have saved room to each have our own serving. LOL!! The ice cream definitely will have us coming back again...3 out of 5!!

   I had the pot roast which was very delicious and so tender it could be cut with a fork. My husband had shrimp and grits and raved about it. Our only complaint is that the portions were too big for us. Our waitress JJ was phenomenal!

    Service great. Friendly staff. Fried green tomatoes very good. Trout dip/pate liked by all. Beef stew liked. Sweet potato risotto just ok.
