Vons Steakhouse & Oyster Bar is locally owned and has been proudly serving Edmonton the highest quality of beef and seafood available since 1988.

Featuring a premium dining room, and a premium casual lounge , with modern illuminated, marble 30 ft Bar and Sushi & oyster bar this restaurant has something for everyone.

Happy Hour from Tuesday to Friday starts at 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. We serve our full menu in both the restaurant and oyster bar areas. Our Oyster bar generally features over 10 varieties of oysters are are shucked to order right in front of you by our bar chefs. We offer 15 wines by a glass with specific attention to Pacific Rim and Canadian Wines.

Dining reservations are recommended but not required. We love spontaneous visits. The lounge, patio and oyster bar area is first come first served. ( some exceptions )

Ate at Von's before a show at the Citadel. Was very quiet early on a Tuesday evening. Food was good, both steaks cooked according to order. This is now our favourite steak house in Edmonton.

We called to book a few days before Valentines Day, and we received a phone call on Valentines days to confirm the time the hostesses made it very clear that We're only aloud 2 hours . We got the 2 hour window, but it wasn't busy at all . The hostesses hover or us steady feel pressure to get out . We want to have a drink after dinner for Valentines with my wife and felt the $260.00 + tip dinner bill should've been more respectful than pressuring us to get out . The hostesses was horrible , the server was fantastic. The meal was OK, but the steak was like chewing on rubber . I expected more from Vons restaurant after going there that absolutely warning you'll pay for really not very good meal . Fair warning over rated reputation. Not very good for the price .

Ordered 24 oysters and it still wasn’t enough! High quality fresh oysters make Von’s worth it, never mind the incredible quality of the Ribeye. Cannot say we ought about this place! Cheers Don.

The server was very inexperienced and couldn’t recommend anything. They served the wrong drink and served old wine that tasted terrible. The steak was overcooked and marked as well done even though it was requested to be medium. And once it came back a second time was also well done. The seating is very uncomfortable. One side a bench and the other a stool??! No back so completely awkward. Very embarrassing to host a group that has not been to Edmonton before. Highly do not recommend.
