   Went for first time since last year, you now have to order from the bar which no one told us, and had to queue up at the bar just to let people know we had a lunch reservation. Food was nice but didn’t feel looked after considering the price of a roast and drinks.

   Came to watch the football on Saturday lunchtime, which I made clear in the booking. Had to ask several times for the sound which then stopped working altogether. A kids party was then sat directly behind us, and we were next to the Gents which gave off a really foul smell every time the door opened. We left at half time sadly.

   Nice pub, nice food - staff were friendly enough but service was painfully slow, took us 20 mins to order and over an hour for our food. We had to keep reminding the staff that we were there. Overall will still recommend as roast was lovely :)

   My daughter chose this place to celebrate her 50th birthday with 10 family members. As a Sports Bar with pub food it met expectations. Some food was really good, the pie, the fish (both fried and grilled) andthe steak was better than we expected . Disappointed with the monkfish and prawn curry, seafood was overcooked and tough and coconut rice was actually unpleasant. Table wasn't ready when we arrived but this was sorted quickly, staff really friendly and helpful but too busy to be as attentive as we needed leaving us to organise our own drinks at the bar. Atmosphere was good.

   Great place to visit if you like noise and crowds and are in your 20's.
