   For the Sequoia Christmas pop up - drinks were good enough, although nothing special from the holiday drinks. Our server would not leave us alone. He would ask if we wanted a drink or a snack and when we would tell him we needed a few minutes, he came back in 90 seconds. When we said we would ultimately need a second drink once we finished our first, he said he could put in the order for the second…. …in a place that was barely half full. I felt really pressured to make an order and to leave ASAP.

   I brought my daughter and 2 granddaughters. The food was amazing, the service excellent. Yes expect to spend some money; but it was worth it.

   We had an incredible experience at the holiday speakeasy pop-up tonight! The cider came in an adorable gingerbread man mug that was very Instagrammable. Also, the snacks were so good. My favorite was the fried oysters and the churros. Definitely recommend for a cute and lovely holiday themed evening!

   One of my ultimate fave dinner spots in San Francisco. Celebrated my son’s birthday here…As always amazing food, great ambiance and great service!!

   Beef tartar had great flavor and the beef cheek stroganoff is rich and tender. Will definitely come back to just enjoy a burger at the bar!

   The speakeasy popup was lackluster. Long wait to sit down despite having a reservation. Lite bites took over an hour to arrive (with part of the order having never made it despite the server checking for us twice). Drinks also took a while. Great concept but execution needs significant improvement.

   Fun addition to the holiday bars to visit in SF. The pop-up speakeasy was a great experience and our group had a wonderful time! Hope you do it again next year!

   Wayfare Tavern has been consistently good for many years. The holiday pop-up in the Sequoia Room was no different. A really fun and intimate holiday scene with creative and festive cocktails. The small bites were delicious and paired well with the seasonal cocktails. Will definitely keep an eye out for similar events.

    Dinner was absolutely amazing, so grateful to the hostess staff for being accommodating to the crazy schedule of my boss. I was able to help him look like a rockstar on his date. He’s already texting me saying that they will be back.
