   I have ordered the oyster Caesar salad in the past and it was very good. This time the oysters were heavily breaded and the salad wasn’t very fresh .

   While it was in a strip mall, it was a first class restaurant with exceptional service.

   The restaurant was nice. We were seated promptly for our reservation. The server was good but did bash the kitchen for being slow, even though we never said anything about the speed of the food coming out. The food was unremarkable. The She Crab Soup was ok. We ordered the Cured and Smoked Salmon, and it was bland and missing the lemon dill cream cheese. When we brought it to our server's attention, they said it never came with cream cheese. The Macadamia Crusted Salmon was good, but more of a dusting than a crust. The rice pilaf looked and tasted just like the Safron rice on my wife's dish and tasted just the same. Overall, the experience was unremarkable. It's a nice place, but it wasn't worth the price point. I think we both walked away saying it was food, and the highlight was the bread when it arrived after being there for almost an hour.

   Great service overall by the waiter and staff. Both our appetizers and main entree was delivered in a timely manner. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming. Definitely will be back! This wasn’t our first time and will not be our last!

   My measuring stick is my prior experiences at Waypoint. It’s one my and my wife’s favorite restaurants in the area, which is why we booked it for Valentine’s Day. In the future, we will pick a less busy day, the food and service was not up to their standards. The menu is still good and innovative, BUT the execution on this day was poor. The “oysters casino” was too raw and doughy The Seafood Bucatini didn’t have seafood, maybe a couple shrimp and scallops. My lamb was on the mark In the past the training of the servers was something to count on. Unfortunately, our waiter apparently had not been trained or oriented with the wine list. I wanted to pair a rich red wine with my lamb and I was given a “everybody always likes……”. I not expecting a Somm, but I do expect a couple questions as far as my taste and what I’m having for an entree. I’m sure we will be back, but this day, the “stress test” of kitchen and service failed. Better luck next time

   The entres are always well done and the service was great! Andrew was our server and he was helpful giving suggestions on several items but giving us plenty of time to just enjoy dinner and the evening.

    Food was good, but expensive. Polenta dish had flavor without being overly spicy. The chef worked to ensure no allergies. Service was good, food came out very timely and was good temperature. Calamari a bit chewy. Drinks were so expensive, didn't realize needed to ask how much an old fashioned was - $19. Guessing having it smoked spiked the cost - they should have told me. Would return if around there but nothing made it exceptional - would ask costs on everything before order.

    Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the food and service but understand your concerns about pricing. Our smoked Old Fashioned does have a higher cost due to the process and ingredients, but we’ll work on making that clearer.
