   Carly was our server and she was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive and easy to communicate with. We came to celebrate the birthday of a son, brother and brother in law who passed was too soon a few years ago. It was a tough day for the family and we asked Carly to take a picture of us to send to his son to show we were celebrating his dad. At the end of the night she brought over a very unexpected surprise to the table.....dessert with the words written in syrup...Happy Heavenly Birthday. It made us all shed a tear as we remember Gary but also what a sweet sentiment by Carly. We had the fish and chips and the lamb and our food was fantastic. Hats off to the team for a great experience.

   Went for brunch on Saint Patrick’s Day.. I had the corn beef hash and my table mate had the southwestern Benny. The food was super tasty. The presentation on the Benny was fantastic as well as delicious. The corn beef hash was just a little simple, though the flavor of the food itself is fantastic. Everything was solid. Can’t put my finger on why but it just felt just slightly underwhelming.

   Service was excellent. Food was tasty but the meal was very expensive, far more than a casual night out. The sound level was HIGH and would reconsider having a date night there again as you are largely unable to hear anyone else in your party :(

   Fabulous dinner and night out with family. It’s so loud, the only issue, but the table next to us was literally screaming.. but having fun :) Great night, thank you!

   So fun to eat out on a nice weather day! Calamari was delicious as always and the oysters Rockafeller were outstanding!

   Outstanding seafood restaurant. Grilled octopus and cioppino should be regular menu items! Very noisy though. Definitely could use some of those noise dampening panels I see in other places.

   Lovey Valentine’s Day. They managed the reservations well as they were busy but our table was ready for us upon arrival. No chaos, lovely meal!

    Wences is a neighborhood gem - the service is always very good as is the food. It is my favorite place to dine.
