De la cuisine jusqu'au bar, tout ce qui vous est servi au Wood Chicago provient de leur passion à explorer des combinaisons uniques de saveur. Le Wood, c'est beaucoup plus qu'un nom! Le four à bois du restaurant est au cœur de tout ce qu'ils ont à offrir. Le menu vous propose une cuisine américaine composée de plusieurs petites assiettes à partager et toujours conçues avec les meilleurs ingrédients de la saison. Bien que les plats changent régulièrement, quelques éléments restent toujours les mêmes : la viande est dépecée sur place à partir d'animaux élevés avec beaucoup d'humanité, les légumes sont issus de fermes familiales locales et toutes les pâtes et saucisses sont fraîchement préparées, directement dans la cuisine du Wood.

Great. Love it. But the menu has been failing. Pork. Pork Duck Pork Lamb Pork Beef Chicken Pork This needs to change… Or I’ll stop going. I’ve been a customer since WOOD opened. This menu is no longer acceptable It’s really unhealthy. Salty. Terribly unwelcoming for many diet limitations. It’s lame to be a Pork menu. Almost offensive from a culinary welcoming perspective.

Perhaps this won't be important to most diners. But for a Friday in Lent, it was unfortunate that the only fist entree was a lobster casserole, one of the most expensive items on the menu.

Tasty food that came out very quickly. Drinks were also delicious. Service was very good as well. No complaints.

Seemed short staffed for mid week; there was a long wait between appetizer and entree courses. It was like the order was held back or something.

Good is amazing, but be picky about who serves you. Our server almost ruined our valentines with his disgusting attitude.

I really enjoyed this meal. We went for Valentine’s Day and the service was really good. The portions are pretty small but the steak frites and pesto spaghetti were so good.

This was our first time dining here and safe to say all of the food was incredible and service was relatively quick and effortless even on a busy Valentine’s Day/Friday night. Steak tartare was delicious and the lamb shoulder and Wood’s KFC dishes were to die for. We will absolutely be back.

Wow. I don't know where to start. We have been to this restaurant many times and always had a great time. However, this past experience has been unbelievable. The manager Josephine Ho is extremely rude and we would NEVER return here even if paid to go. My husband and I were in Chicago for my mother's funeral. We went to the restaurant to escape the emotions I was experiencing. I also was battling flu like symptoms. We were only at the restaurant 10 minutes and I was feeling very ill and told our waiter that I needed to leave. We didn't even drink our drinks or get our appetizer. We asked the server to wrap the appetizer and cancel the entrees. He agreed. The next day my spouse realized that we were charged $202.30 -- the complete meal. We were never offered to take the entrees with us and we were charged and also charged a gratuity on the meals. I called several times and Josephine was never around. Then I emailed her and this was the response I received... Hi Bryan, I was the manager on duty during your dine with us that evening. I was informed by my staff, your server, that either you or your husband was heavily intoxicated during the first 10-mins of your seating. I gave the staff the okay to pack your food to go, since you asked to leave, but a refund was not able to be initiated because the food was already made. Please do not accuse my staff of including gratuity for himself as there was a signed receipt in which we have kept records of and we have camera recordings of you signing the check. For that reason, we are not refunding you back your dinner and you are no longer welcome at our establishment. I'm sorry about your personal hardships, but do not ever accuse my restaurant of "being unfair and unethical". If you are seriously experiencing financial hardships, I would recommend not going out in the first place such as "Miller's Pub" or our restaurant for that matter. Our check averages per guest have never been a surprise to anyone,
