Service was the only place lacking. The cart servers were great, but getting refills on water and other beverages there was a lapse and we had to constantly flag someone down. Otherwise it was a great experience

Exceptional dim sum with our friend on very stormy day before our ballet at Yerba Buena Theatre. Very convenient location to BART and YBT. Attentive service by servers. We had reservation and arrived early but were promptly seated by Vera.

Haven’t eaten Yank Sing for 28 years bc life has gotten in the way - food was even better now than I remember it being before. We really loved the fried sea bass (wrapped in wafer-thin sweet potato and a bit of fresh basil leaf). Service was attentive and polite. Very glad we made a reservation bc we observed people waiting for a table from 12-1:30ish (as we walked past the restaurant well after our early lunch). Only drawback was we were seated very near the door to the outdoor dining area on a chilly day, and the draft was unpleasant.

We were a party of 11, and were seated at a roundtable on their outdoor patio. It was perfect. The food variety was great. A little slow offering dishes at the backside of the table, but all in all it was a great dining experience especially for our size group. I highly recommend This restaurant

I had such a lovely time at yank sing. The service was extremely nice and attentive , the food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance and scene was so classic. A true San Francisco Dim Sum experience!

A really great experience. Attentive staff and manger. Busy and you can see why. The dim sum was awesome. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious and they take time to explain how to eat certain dishes if you haven’t tried them before. Don’t let the alley it’s in fool you. It’s a wonderful safe and clean establishment.

We don’t get to SF often as we live about 120 miles away, but when we do get there, Yank Sing is a favorite stop. Near Bart and fast service of tasty morsels.
