Yauatcha Soho, au cœur de la dynamique ville de Londres, est un salon de thé au dim sum avec service continu qui propose une grande sélection de dim sum moderne et authentique, ainsi que des pâtisseries européennes et une impressionnante liste de thés, de vins et de cocktails. Le restaurant est conçu dans le style d'un salon de thé chinois classique, avec une touche moderne. En même temps, l'éclairage et les sièges rappellent l'ambiance d'un « chatter shop » comme dans les restaurants de dim sum traditionnels à Hong Kong. I am so happy to have chosen this place for my daughter’s big birthday dinner. Big shout out to all the staff - in particular Roberta for your exceptionally warm hospitality and for finding time to speak to us even though it was so busy, Hafiza - you were simply amazing and thank you for making my daughter’s evening even more memorable and Rohan from kitchen, thanks for the personal touch. The cocktails were superb, the ambience was spot on and the food was divine. Can’t wait to be back!! Thank you Yauatcha Soho team 😄

I visited the restaurant several years ago. It was fantastic, calm and serene. But now, it has lost it’s ambience. It was more like a fast food restaurant! The entrance from the street meant that staff with trays of hot food coming up the stairs were colliding with customers trying to leave and customers trying to come in. A family with a child in a small buggy was trying to leave whilst a waiter was trying to hastily serve the food. A few seconds earlier the child would have had hot food on them. The madness in having food being brought up and down the stairs whilst customers trying to go to the toilet located downstairs. It was an awful experience. The food was nice but what it’s what I would expect for the price. The vegan fixed menu was expensive for the food - the tofu was bland and the green beans were not fresh but seemed rehydrated and lacked any taste. Please relocate your entrance. It’s dangerous. The cake area took way too much space. It could be redesigned to allow a better reception area.

Is the dim sum here really as good as you’d hope? Categorically yes! It’s sublime. Every item is perfectly cooked and perfectly executed, the food is the star of the show. If you’re in this part of soho and are looking for excellent dim sum in a contemporary setting, this is the place.

We had the taste of Yauatcha set menu. The prawns in the main dish was delicious, as were the desserts. We have been here before and the dim sum was great in the past but very minimal in this particular set menu. The chef was not at all accommodating for children however which let the team down and was disappointing. We asked if the bean sprouts could be removed from the noodle dish and they completely refused which begs the question, is it freshly made? Or is the chef just unaccommodating to customer needs?

The dim sums are to die for. Nicole was very attentive and she helped us pick probably the best items on the menu. The seating and the ambience could have been better and some tables needed a little more room. The a/c could have been better as you could smell the kitchen.
