Restaurant was understaffed and so service was slow on the night we were there. There were 2 Hostesses which was unnecessary. When our server did wait on us he was good. But he could not get us alcoholic drinks so we had to go to the Bar to get them ourselves.

Nobody in the place yet took 20 minutes. For us to get 2 drinks - and o e was a beer. Claimed they were training a new bartender which I can appreciate. But dang, I can live with an extra 5 minute delay but not cool for the food to show up before the drinks!

We had an excellent attentive server. Food came out fast and hot. Great attitudes for having to work on New Years Eve night!

Like the food, but was super disappointed by the service. Our server did the best he could, but they were severely understaffed and not well managed. Waited over an hour and half for our pizza and another 20 mins for our bill.

Server must have been new to serving. Ordered a Bacardi Rum & Diet Pepsi mixed drink. Received a shot of Barcardi and a Large Soda separately. Large Pepperoni Pizza was burned.

It took 50 min to get a thin crust pizza. Not enough workers.

There is no sense of urgency among the front staff. The restaurant was slow, with just 4 tables occupied, but service was still poor. Everyone was friendly enough, but not at all focused on taking care of customers. When we walked in, a staff member sitting at a table, looked up from her phone and asked us if we wanted to be seated. We were standing at the host station, what else did we want? The food came within a reasonable time and was fine, but nobody returned to check on us, offer drink refills, etc. When we were ready to leave, I had to go to the bar to ask for our check. The manager seemed disengaged, as well. This is a convenient place to go before a movie, but we won’t be back - it’s always the same.

Very good flat crust sausage and pepperoni pizza. But not as good as the pizza at the original Zaffiro's on Farwell in Milwaukee.

Zaffiro's on the East Side? Awesome. This one? Not so much. - Service: 10 minutes before we were acknowledged after being seated, and it wasn't busy. Ordered an appetizer and it must have been sitting in the kitchen for a while before it got delivered...had to ask for it when meals came, and it was cold. - Food: some of it good (love the kitchen sink salad), some of it ok, some of it terribly prepared (fried pickles were about as hard as hockey pucks). - Portions: I ordered onion rings as my side, and three total onion rings came out. Yes, three, and they're not big. This is an upcharge, to boot. Another plate at the table got fries as a side, and the basket was barely half full. - Bar: my beer was way off of what it usually tastes like...not sure if the pipes need to be cleaned, or if I got a dirty glass. Either way, this a low bar to clear. - Atmosphere: TV volume on blast, could barely hear across the table over it. Not sure the cause of the problems here, but this was one of my worst restaurant experiences in years. The East Side location is a classic, disappointing that this one uses the same name.
