Le restaurant Zia Marie voit le jour il y a une dizaine d’années dans l’idée d’accueillir, de divertir, et de servir les clients à la mode italienne, dans une ambiance chaleureuse et familiale. Rebaptisé le Zia’s par tout le voisinage, ce restaurant se situe dans un quartier pittoresque, à seulement quelques pas de la Chesapeake Bay, niché au coeur de la Chic’s Beach. Spécialisé dans la cuisine italienne authentique, la carte qui vous est proposée comprend un très large éventail de saveurs. Du poulet, en passant par le veau, le boeuf, ou les plats de fruits de mer, tout est cuisiné à partir d’ingrédients frais. Une foire de saison se tient chaque semaine au sein de l’établissement. Vous pouvez vous y procurer des vins, mais aussi des desserts maison ainsi que des spécialités traditionnelles. Great restaurant. Food and service was fantastic. Menu selection was just right with all the traditional Italian fare included. Highly recommended.

The food and service was excellent. The noise level made our dining experience miserable. we could not hear each other due to a large party seated next to us. they were yelling and cursing and being quite obnoxious. we had reservations, so I’m not sure why they put us back there knowing they had a large party. no one should be seated in that area. we did notice quite a few diners who looked as unhappy as us. unsure if we will be returning.

Our server Abby was on point. It was busier than we expected, hence pretty loud. The food was good, and a good value. Zia Marie’s will get another try and we will have to try their pizza.

My wife and friends have been going to Zia’s for a while. This visit was very disappointing. We had a reservation through Open Table. Though there were many empty table in the main dining room. We were seated in an area away from the main seating in the front part of the restaurant by the door. It was chilly. Our waitress was very nice and professional. The dishes we ordered were not up to the standards we expected. The pasta was cold and stuck together. The veal was so tough I could hardly chew it. My wife’s dish was off in some way. She didn’t eat it all. The deserts we ordered were very poor Tiramisu had hardly any cake or what it was suppose to have been. Way way too much whipping cream. The chocolate mousse cake was still hard almost frozen. I have heard from other friends that their experience has been less than anticipated. Very disappointing and with other Italian restaurants in the area I will be inclined to find another place to take my business.

The table for four was too small and too close to surrounding tables. The service was very good. The server was quite helpful in explaining the entree choices. The food was very good. The noise level was awful. We had to yell at each other through the entire meal. For that reason we would only return by ourselves instead of meeting up with anyone
