A New York Style Parisian Bistro. A 4000 sq, foot restaurant that is designed with contemporary sensibilities, yet returns the nostalgic ambiance of an authentic Parisian bistro. Round marble bistro tables and wicker chairs spill out onto the sidewalk, offering a kind of people watching one might indulge in, along Boulevard Saint-Germain. Zinc Bistro also offer a romantic garden patio secluded deep in the restaurant, lit by candles during the evening, creating an unforgettable ambiance, or a relaxing atmosphere near our fountain in the afternoon. The oyster bar stands at the end of the 25 foot zinc bar, serving fruit de mer platters, as well as all of the accoutrements. We bring in shellfish daily, offering the freshest oysters, clams, mussels, and lobster in the desert.

                                                                                          We sat in the inner courtyard on Christmas Eve. The restaurant was very crowded. However, it was like the waitress completely forgot she had people in the courtyard and spent all her time inside. We literally could not get her attention. I had to complain to a manager and the service was frosty but we got our food finally!

From the helpful hostess who quickly cleared an outside table for us to Michael, our waitperson, everything was wonderful. Drinks were spot on, appetizers and main entrees were fabulous and cooked perfectly. Food and service have always been consistent here. Whether you come for lunch or dinner, you will not be disappointed. This gem in Kierland Commons is a place we will be returning to often.

                                                                                          Amazing is all I can say. Zinc is authentic French food and is spectacular. The ambience is soothing and welcoming. My wife and I are frequent visitors to France and love French cuisine. Zinc is the real deal. This was our first visit but certainly not our last. We started with the carrot starter which was beautiful and it only got better from there. My wife had the Provencal Bouillabaisse and I had the Scallops. Both dishes were 5 star worthy. Chef created an amazing taste with both dishes. The service is worthy of 5 stars. Just the right amount of touch points and knowledge. Zinc Bistro is now on our favorite Scottsdale/Phoenix restaurant list. I highly recommend Zinc. You won’t be disappointed. One item missing is the chocolate mousse authentic to France. See photo.

                                                                                          We are big fans of Zinc Bistro and have been here many times. We enjoy the excellent food, fun ambiance/vibe and usually great service. Last night we had an early dinner reservation for our family in town when the restaurant was not that crowded. We ordered cocktails and then wondered where the waiter went. It took forever to order food and we had to ask a water filler to find our waiter. They never brought oysters we ordered, and then they brought entrees while we were still eating appetizers. Usually we engage with the excellent servers at Zinc but our waiter seemed very harried and non attentive. Finally, my steak was not even hot so it obviously had been waiting to be served and the entrees fired too soon. So we hope this was just an off night and abberation

                                                                                          We have enjoyed the Zinc Bistro many times in the past. Tonight, the food was excellent, Steak frites (hanger steak) and their December Special turbo. However, the holiday crowd was so noisy it was hard to have a conversation and enjoy the ambience. Our server was outstanding and we will return, hoping for a better environment, probably avoiding the weekend crowds.
